Upcoming Events: Wythall Busfest @ Gaydon – July 1st.

The Wythall Transport Museum

Grab your timetable and your camera for July 1st 2023, we’ve partnered with the Transport Museum Wythall and expect over a hundred vintage and modern buses from all across the country to make a remarkable display for bus followers and families alike. The show is well on its way to becoming the largest bus rally in the UK.

2023 sees the 50th anniversary of the last Daimler bus being built in Coventry. The organisers are inviting all Daimler buses to come together and celebrate this milestone, whether it’s a Daimler chassis, engine or both of course. You can also find a series of post-2000 buses as their popularity and preservation grows. In this more modern era, the conventional diesel powered buses were being replaced with hybrids and fully electric vehicles.

Visit the trade stands where you can find books, DVDs, models and more – the perfect place to shop for a unique gift or for a new addition to your collection!

Tickets for the show include entry to the Museum and Collections Centre, giving you the chance to see over 400 cars covering more than a century of motoring history. It’s not only cars in the Museum though, we also have a 1923 AEC S-type bus! With so much to see, you’ll be sure to work up an appetite and we’ve got you covered with the Junction 12 Café in the Museum serving delicious meals, sweet treats and refreshments. Quick bites such as burgers and ice creams are available outside too.

Hop on a bus and enjoy free rides!

It wouldn’t be a bus day without the chance to ride so throughout the day you can jump onto a selection of buses and take a ride around the local routes and Museum roads for free.

Book your visitor tickets

Book your ticket to enjoy the show and explore the Museum buildings too! Advance tickets cost just £14.50 per adult, £9 per child, £12.50 per concession and £40 for a family. You can buy tickets in advance or buy on the day!
