Festival of the Unexceptional: A Concours de l’Ordinaire, brought to you by Hagerty
Saturday 26th July 8:30am – 11:30am
Leave the Astons, Jags and Maseratis behind. Bring on the Allegros, Vivas and Marinas. Come and celebrate the best examples of the most ordinary cars of late 1960s to mid-1980s Britain.
What is unexceptional?
The first event of its kind in Britain, Festival of the Unexceptional: A Concours de l’Ordinaire, brought to you by Hagerty, will jovially highlight how the cars we grew up with are simply vanishing. Ponder this: There are twice as many Ferraris on the road in the UK than Austin Allegros! We’ll bring together the 50 best examples of a wide range of models to be judged by Hagerty’s handpicked group of unexceptional “experts.” An award of dubious value will go to the overall winner. Petty bribes for the judges are strictly encouraged, as is period dress. We prefer our trousers and jackets to be like our car interiors: no natural fibres, please!
Oh… admission is free!
