News: Rover 75 & MG ZT Documentary Goes on Sale

John Clancy productions, the company that makes and sells automotive films under the Triumph DVD brand has just released their latest title in time for Christmas….

The 75 and MG ZT were the last true Rover to be designed and built – also the last. Now you learn about its fascinating story on Blu-Ray or DVD.

Codename R40 the story of the Rover 75 and MG ZT is an in-depth documentary covering the design, production and demise of what was to become the very last car the company built.

The 75 went on public sale in 1999 and was the first pure Rover designed car the company had built since the Montego of 1984. The car was Rovers flagship that all too quickly became the company’s swan-song.

The two-disc set includes personal and in-depth interviews with key senior Rover stylists, engineers, P.R officers, project managers and directors along with thoughts and words coming from owners too.

Automotive names including Peter Morgan, David Waide, Ron Brown and Richard Woolley – now design director with Jaguar Land Rover plus many more guide you through the turbulent times of what the press called “Rover’s last chance saloon”

Resource website aronline.co.uk co-editor and automotive writer Mike Humble who originally came up with the idea said, “I think this could be the most in-depth single model related documentary ever made. It’s been a real two-year labour of love, but the result is rather special and dare I say, emotional. The passion that all the engineers and designers still have for the car really shines through

Available on DVD or Blu-Ray, this two-disc set is on sale for £16.95 with free UK postage and packing direct from their website.
